Sandy Duperval

Dynamic, passionate, talented… These words barely scratch the surface when describing Singer/DJ/Producer and aspiring Chef Sandy Duperval. Born and raised in Montreal, Sandy’s love for all things food and music started at a young age.

Singing is Sandy’s primary love and she touts Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Tina Turner, Robin S, Crystal Waters, and Martha Wash as a few of her vocal influences. Sandy honed her craft with 13 years of vocal training, and has studied under the tutelage of Cissy Houston, mother of the iconic Whitney Houston.

It was during her studies at College de Sherbrooke majoring in Jazz Vocals that Sandy discovered the art of DJing and began a coveted 9 year residency at the College Night at Unity Nightclub. This established her as a bold and prominent DJ in the nightlife industry. Sandy is one of the few DJ/singer artists in the industry, and it’s this unique combination that keeps her schedule filled with bookings at events in places such as Montreal, Toronto, Turks and Caicos, and New York, just to name a few.

As her star continued to shine, Sandy flourished and worked at some of the most respected clubs in Canada. She has had the opportunity to solidify spots as an opening act for world renowned DJs/Artists such as Chus & Ceballos, Morabito, Bob Sinclar, Ultra Nate, Car-Nage, Travis Scott, Ruby Rose, Lil Jon and many more. Sandy has co-produced records with some high pro file International Dance Music producers such as Jason Fraser (Toronto), Kone & Marc Palacios (Spain), Edhim (Morocco), Stan Courtois (NYC), Etienne Osborne (Ottawa) and Martin Villeneuve (Gatineau).
