François Lachance, who has been active in the music and entertainment industry for over 20 years, both in Quebec and North America, is president of Music Right Clearance, a Montreal-based music clearance company specializing in advertising, film, television, video games, web, radio and corporate marketing.

The company is a one-stop shop for rapidly generating and managing preferential rate agreements with local players as well as major international groups.

Its history includes artists such as U2, Arcade Fire and Taylor Swift, as well as many artists and groups from Quebec and the French-speaking world, from Marie-Pierre Arthur to Joe Dassin.
